Summary:

As we seek to establish the theme of this series, we will look at the core understanding of what it means to be “made alive in Christ” or “born again.” This act of regeneration where we are made spiritually alive and given the gift of the Holy Spirit is the mark of the Christian church. It is not our membership, our tradition, our morals, our political affiliation, or our institutions of church that make us the church. It is when the resurrection power of Jesus has transformed us that we become the Church of Jesus Christ.
