About

We want to be a church that loves audaciously like Jesus loves us.

Very simply...This is the kind of church that we want to be. We don't want to do "church things" because that is what a church is supposed to do. We want to be the Jesus following, Spirit empowered, Gospel sending church birthed in the Scriptures.

What is a Church Plant?

A church plant is the beginning stages of a brand new church. Typically this means starting out as small group of people dedicated to the birth of this new church, it's vision, and engaging the community. As we grow, we establish leadership and work toward a public launch, which is essentially our "grand opening." After the launch, we begin to build and grow the church toward long term impact in the Danville community and become a fully accredited church.

Iron Mill Church is a church plant of the Alliance. The Alliance is best described as a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family that is passionate about bringing the Gospel to all people. For more about the Alliance, please visit cmalliance.org.

Our Core Values

Our values are what forge us. They shape who we are. They guide what we do. They bring greater clarity to our vision.

We believe in the centrality of the Gospel.

The Gospel of Jesus affects every area of our lives.

We believe the Gospel leads to life change.

As we know Jesus more deeply, there is physical, emotional, and spiritual evidence.

We believe the Gospel is best conveyed in community.

The Gospel causes us to have more authentic and loving relationships.

We believe we are here to have a cultural impact.

The Gospel compels us to have hope, love others, and transform our town.

We believe that generosity leads to multiplication.

As we give our best time, talents, and treasure to God, he multiplies it.

We believe excellence honors God and inspires people.

In everything we do, we want to always bring our best.

We believe in taking faith-filled, big thinking risks.

Our God is bigger and more powerful than we can dream.

We believe in a “go” mentality.

We will always strive to go to others, before we invite them to come to us.

We believe creativity is a natural result of worship.

The Gospel motivates us to creatively worship Jesus with all of our talents and artistry.
