When it comes to life of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels, we get four distinct looks at the life of the man who is God. In those distinct views there are many important moments that are written in multiple accounts because of their significance.
As we read Mark 8 today, Mark again records one of these significant moments. It is when Jesus comes to the disciples and asks them, "Who do you say I am?"
It is a simple but profound question. Who we think Jesus is changes a great deal in our thinking and our worldview.
If Jesus is God, that changes things.
If Jesus never sinned, that changes things.
If Jesus rose from the dead, that changes things.
If Jesus loves you, that changes things.
Today, very simply, who do you say Jesus is?
